OVERVIEW

The bridge that we chose is an arch bridge, meaning that one of the most important features of the design is the arch. This is the most important feature because it is the arch the one who gives the shape to the bridge influencing the entire design and structure of the bridge.  In addition to this the arch is the one responsible for supporting the weight place on the bridge and helps hold heavier weights due to the dispersive physical stress properties a curved surface has over a plane design. This is why we chose this the design and why the arch is the most important feature of the bridge.

CONCLUSION

At the end of the project, all the team members could agree that many valuable lessons were learned. We each became aware of just how important teamwork was in order to design and manufacture the bridge successfully. We all also gained critical real world experience that gave us insight into how engineers do their job correctly and efficiently. Through research and study, we learned a substantial amount of information of the different types of bridges and their optimal implementations. Each team member contributed equally to the project, and because of this, the whole process from designing to manufacturing, went smoothly with hardly any friction amongst the team. Written below are short paragraphs describing what each team member learned individually and how it has affected them.
